I'm 28 years old and live in Texas, just north of the Mexican border. This blog is simply a therapeutic, public forum, that I use to help me cope with the residual effects of years of religious abuse, and the subsequent unhealthy relationship with gender which it founded. I was raised very conservatively: my family belonged to a fundamentalist Bible/Christian church which was heavily influenced by the teachings of Bill Gothard. I attended a private Baptist academy throughout my childhood, where gender and sexuality were all very highlighted and unavoidable issues of my growing up years. I started hormone replacement therapy in November 2010. Feel free to follow my journey through transition.
